Ron Allen said they are slowly chipping away at financing the resort. Its tentative plans propose going partially underground and accommodating 600 vehicles. The parking structure, estimated at $10 million, would be built before the resort. “Five years is aggressive but why not?”īefore they proceed with the resort, they’ll be investigating plans for increasing water and sewer services in the next year or two. “You will see a resort in five years,” Ron Allen said.
He noted the expansion would give tribal staff a sense of how they can accomplish the next steps, including their proposed resort, parking structure and multiple other projects. “It’s going to put a lot more pressure on the casino because more people will want to go over to the newly remodeled part,” Ron Allen said. Everyday use for the renovated bingo hall still is being planned. Construction tentatively begins March 1, 2011, with an August completion.
